The Luckiest, the fast-rising lottery-style game transforming lives across Ghana, has announced that the ultimate winner of Season Three will walk away with GHC2.5 million when the final draw takes place later this year.
Organized by GeniusLoci Limited and regulated by the National Lottery Authority (NLA), the initiative has been running since 2023 and has steadily gained popularity for its inclusivity and diverse reward system.
At a launch event held at the NLA office in Accra to build up to the grand draw, participants who purchased tickets ranging from GHC1 to GHC5,000 won prizes such as mobile phones, power banks, and a television set for the day’s top winner.
The excitement, however, is all geared towards the grand finale in December where the biggest prize will be handed out.

“We have been running this for the past three years and we want to make this year’s grand,” said Dennis Adutwum, CEO of The Luckiest. “This year we are giving as much as 2.5 million Ghana cedis to the Luckiest Ticket winners.”
The game features three categories – Community, Bonus, and the Luckiest Ticket – along with other random participants who also stand a chance to win. In 2024, for example, over 300,000 entries were recorded with the main Luckiest Ticket winner taking home 1 million cedis. The Community and Bonus ticket categories saw filling stations, trotro drivers, jewelers, and even prison communities rewarded, while random winners walked away with appliances including chest freezers, microwaves, and televisions.
Launched with approval from the NLA’s Caritas platform, The Luckiest is open to all Ghanaians aged 18 and above. Participation is simple – through the USSD code *712# or via www.theluckiestafrica.com, which also allows Ghanaians abroad to join in.
“We’ve targeted everyone in society, in Ghana and across Africa, so that it truly affects the ordinary person,” Mr. Adutwum emphasized.
The Acting Director of Marketing and Caritas, Kwabena opoku Boakye encouraged all Ghanaians to participate in The Luckiest, noting that even if they don’t win immediately, they still have a chance in the grand draw. He further explained that, should they not win in the grand draw either, their contributions will still make an impact as the funds go into charity and support societal development.

With the promise of GHC2.5 million for the ultimate winner, Season Three of The Luckiest has raised expectations even higher, ensuring that the journey to the final draw remains as thrilling as the prize itself.
