Upcoming reggae-dancehall artiste, Renner, has explained why she has gone ghost in music for some time now, leaving her fans hungry and craving for new dope tunes.
Speaking with Y97.9FM Takoradi’s Haruna Babaginda on the Reggae Republic show, she stated that she has not been off the music scene for nothing, but is working underground with her new management to build a firm foundation and then she can begin to throw back to back reggae-dancehall hits.
“We’re doing some underground work because we need to get firm grounds. Music is not a joke and the industry is a bit someway so you have to get yourself well prepared before you make that move”, she said.
Renner went on to reveal exclusively on Y97.9FM that being off the scene, she has already recorded about twenty songs and is still working on more so that she can have a variety of songs to choose from to put together a six-song EP which she will soon release, followed by an album.
Renner is a super talented dancehall artiste. She has a number of dope songs to her name and has done features with artistes like Tsoobi, Solid Kay, Koo Ntakra, Tee-Phlow, among others and promises to surprise fans with a Shatta Wale collaboration soon.
