Sultry singer, song writer and philanthropist Rebecca Akosua Acheampomaa Acheampong after dropping two smashing hits ,Driving License which features Shatta Wale and her most recent collaboration with Nigerian Singer Tiwa Savage who is signed with Universal Music Group was on the Ylounge yesterday (October 22) as part of promo for her new single “Yes I Do”
She touched on various issues concerning the girl child and menstrual hygiene as well as her pregnancy and upcoming album.
The Becca Hearts Foundation aims at educating girls on female hygiene ,a project which she started with the help of other organizations to visit some students in Kumasi
On her pregnancy, Becca shared how stress free and exciting it was during and after baby Sanni-Daniel aka Maame Ama was born.
On her new single *Yes I do* with assisted vocals from Tiwa Savage, Becca stated that her baby was the inspiration for her Yes I Do song. Tiwa becomes the first female artiste to be featured by Becca.
Well there’s more to look out from the camp of Becca as she readies herself for another album sometime next year with tones of features and different genres.
She exclusively shared on the Ylounge that she might have Africa’s baddest female Dj Kess on a house produced track on the album.
When asked if she still prefers Nigerian jollof she hesitated and said “GHANA JOLLOF DE BEE”
