American actor, singer and songwriter, Trevor Jackson, earlier today, outdoored a new afrobeat song exclusively on Ghana’s number one entertainment radio channel, Y107.9FM.
Talking about afrobeat music in an Instagram live with host, Winston Michaels on ‘The Hot Seat on Y’, Trevor affirmed that he has heard of the afrobeat genre and has even recorded a few songs with that vibe.
He played, for the first time on YFM, one of his afrobeat songs, which apparently, he recorded only two days ago, but did not give a title for the dope tune.
The ‘Right Now’ hitmaker revealed that he would love to come to Africa sometime despite the fact that he has not yet traced his ancestry.
“I gotta come to Africa. When they tell me I have a show out there, I’d love to come”, he said.
The multi-talented star shared how mad he was when American rapper, Diggy came to Africa without him because he really wanted to visit too.
“He said that it was awesome. He felt his roots, he felt people were so awesome, everyone having fun, dancing. He just said it was an amazing celebratory time and I’m definitely gonna try and get out there”, Trevor added.
