Vodafone Ghana has introduced a comprehensive package to support Ghanaian patrons attending the Hajj Pilgrimage to Mecca this year.
In an effort to provide unmatched customer experience for its customers making the trip, Vodafone is giving an amazing 95% discount on voice, SMS and data services for all prepaid customers roaming in Saudi Arabia during the Hajj period.
Additionally, in line with a promise to provide a worry-free experience, the telecoms company is giving pilgrims the opportunity to stay connected to family and friends, free of high roaming charges.
Announcing the package following a courtesy call on the Hajj Board, Jojo Quansah, Products and Services Manager at Vodafone Ghana said:
“Vodafone has continued to partner and support the Muslim community in recent years. Our recent partnerships have included the charity concert SALAFEST, which was executed to great perfection. The Hajj package is designed to provide the most worry-free experience on roaming in Saudi Arabia for our cherished customers. We want pilgrims to have a good Hajj, whiles staying in touch with friends and family in Ghana.”
Under the arrangement, pilgrims only need to carry along their Vodafone SIM cards while departing for Saudi Arabia to enjoy seamless connectivity and enhanced network experience throughout their stay.
Meanwhile, Vodafone has also donated 15 smartphones, GH¢3,000 worth of airtime and utility souvenirs for the leadership of the travelling pilgrims.
