Alongside the sponsorship of the Otumfuo Golf Tournament, Vodafone Ghana has initiated a host of activities to properly engage the people of the Ashanti Region.
The company’s enterprise unit, on Monday, engaged a number of its Small and Medium Enterprise clients in an interaction session at the Golden Tulip Hotel. The session was to underline the telecommunication company’s holistic support for the SME segment nationwide.
Across the country, SMEs play a very crucial role in Ghana’s economy, demonstrating the capacity to contribute enormously to the general economic growth; leading to the attainment of a higher middle income status.
The clients were taken through a host of activities including optimising resource availability and utilising complex digitalised solutions to ensure an effective network for SME businesses to thrive.
Commenting on the interaction, Head of the SME business Unit at Vodafone Business Solutions, Jerry Quarshie said:
“For us, we view our existence as an enabler to help SMEs overcome the current wave and get a foothold in the global competitive landscape. We want SMEs to think global whiles acting local. Technology has crammed the whole world into one eco-system and we want our customers to know that we will continue to be with them every step of the way.”
