One of Ghana’s dopest freestyle rappers, Wan-O has shared that his verse on the Rapture cypher was coined from a ‘vibe’.
According to him, he recorded his verse within 5 minutes after stepping out of the bathroom. “Music is spiritual and once the vibe is there that is it and that happened with the Rapture cypher.”
Talking to Y107.9FM’s Kojo Manuel on the Dryve of Your Lyfe about his verse on the Rapture cypher, he said, “I was going to meet Joe Vibe at the mall when AJ called me that they wanted me on it. She sent me the beat and it was really dope. I had just stepped out of the bathroom and recorded the verse before leaving home.”
Wan-O proved he is a great freestyle rapper by dropping some bars on a beat from DJ Milzy in the YFM studios.
