Barcelona have released a spine-tingling video tribute to Lionel Messi following his 500th goal for the club, last night.
Messi bagged a brace to secure three dramatic points against Real Madrid, and in the process brought up his 500th career club goal.
It appeared the El Clasico was heading to a draw until the Argentine maestro popped up to coolly slot home on his trusted left-peg, sending the Barcelona camp into pandemonium.
As a result of his brilliance, Barcelona take top spot from Real with five games remaining in the La Liga. But their arch-rivals do have a game in hand.
