Ghanaian talent and ‘music traveller’, Black Sherif made his debut on a global platform at the 25th annual Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards hosted at the OVO Arena in Wembley, UK.
The “Prey Da Youngsta” hitmaker performed as a surprise on the evening and brilliantly mashup two of his top tracks from the charts, Kwaku The Traveller and Second Sermon Remix.
The MOBO Awards are a yearly British music awards show that honours accomplishments in “music of black origin,” which encompasses hip hop, grime, UK Drill, R&B, soul, reggae, jazz, gospel, and African music.
Famous legends including Nile Rodgers, Craig David, Tion Wayne, Fireboy DML, and others performed at the event honouring black brilliance.
At the 25th anniversary, Burna Boy was named “African Artist of the Year.”
