American rapper, Snopp Dogg has become the latest admirer of Nigeria’s Afrobeats singer, Temilade Openiyi, best known as Tems.
Snopp Dogg in a viral video revealed that his whole family are fans of the Nigerian star’s music.
He is also seen calling for a collaboration with Tems to produce a hit as part of his legendary catalogue.
“So Tems, when are we going to make a record? You know I am a fan, let’s make a fucking hit record girl,” he said.

Since the release of her smash hit “Try Me” and her feature on Wizkid’s “Essence,” Tems has been on an impressive form, working with a number of A-list artistes across the world, including American rappers Drake and Future on the song “Wait For You.”
Also as a songwriter, Tems contributed to the lyrics of Rihanna’s song “Lift Me Up” and sang a cover of Bob Marley’s “No Woman, No Cry” for the soundtrack to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Tems has won 2 NAACP Image Awards, 2 BET Awards, 2 Soul Train Music Awards, the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song, and many more prestigious awards and nominations.
