The General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia in a radio interview has denied claims on the internet that he was backing rapper M.anifest in his beef with Sarkodie.
The claims forced the NDC scribe to say that “M.anifest the son of astute lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata is as intelligent as his father, no two ways about it, the gentleman is an intellectual, more than a mere rapper among his peers and there is no way Opana who only brags can compare himself to him even the deaf and dumb knows that”.
But speaking on Asempa, Wednesday, the politician denied ever making such comments and in fact was clueless as to who Sarkodie and M.anifest were.
“Every interview you conduct and ask about the songs I listen to, don’t you hear the kind of songs I mention. I listen to Adwoa, Yaa Asantewa, Ampofo Adjei and Reggae.
“These songs they make and you barely hear what they are saying. I don’t know them. What is M.anifest? Is it the document that holds the names of passengers boarding a flight? I don’t know anyone by that name, I don’t know anyone called Sarkodie. I know Adofo, Amakye Dede and rest. When I was young and times were hard and I was a promoter they are the once I dealt with.”
