Manchester United fans were infuriated with Jonathan Moss during the Red Devils’ match against Burnley at Old Trafford.
There were five additional minutes of stoppage time in the match, but United fans feel like there should have been more due to Victor Lindelöf’s equaliser and Burnley players apparently wasting time.
Moss also blowed the whistle on 94:55, which was five seconds before the match was meant to end. Yes, there were fans that were angered with the aforementioned point.
Fans have posted their true feelings on social media.
Ashley Barnes opened the scoring for the Clarets in the second half, with Chris Wood doubling their lead in the 81st minute.
However, Solskjær rallied his men back into the match and Paul Pogba scored a penalty in the 87th minute. It was followed up with Lindelöf’s equaliser in the 92nd minute.
“The comeback was brilliant, the players have been asked about how they would react if they went 1-0 or 2-0 down, so I felt the comeback was fantastic,” Solskjær told BBC Sport.
“We had loads of chances, loads of possession, we didn’t deserve to lose.
“We disappointed ourselves and we disappointed the crowd today, but the ones who stayed had a typical Old Trafford finish to the game, so that was a big plus.”
Following on from the appointment of the 45-year-old Norwegian in December, the United caretaker manager won his first eight matches across all competitions.
While Solskjær hasn’t tasted defeat in the United dugout, he will face his toughest test at the club with his upcoming fixtures in February and March.
United are sixth in the Premier League and are two points behind fifth-place Arsenal. The Red Devils will face Leicester City on Sunday.
