Nine years ago, YFM, Ghana’s number one urban station received life from the Global Media Alliance Group to start operating on the airwaves. Since its inception in November 2008, the station has grown to be the most sought after youth and urban station in the country currently.
Three years ago, ‘The Junction Mall’ also came into being in November 2014 and since its inception, the Mall has provided nothing but quality service to clients in and around Nungua and Tema.
According to Naveen Singh, Head of Radio at Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company (GMABC), as part of the celebrations, YFM will be flying one lucky winner to London to attend the Black British Entertainment Awards.
“YFM is nine years old and we want to celebrate it big. We will have a pre-party at Plot 7 Night Club inside Nyaniba Estates on December 1. A tight list of YFM top stars like Killer Fingers, Vision DJ, French Kiss DJ, DJ Loft and A.D. DJ and among others will be there to make the night a memorable one,” Mr Singh said.
He added “This will be followed by the biggest birthday bash on December 2 at Junction Mall. The day will be packed with fun filled events including power packed performances from some top musicians in Ghana.”
The birthday bash is a joint event between YFM Ghana and ‘The Junction Mall’, a beautiful relationship that is in its third year.
