YFM Kumasi Lights Up “Repu” Hall Week

The official frequency for the young and young at heart, Y102.5FM in Kumasi came to play at this year’s edition of the Republic Hall Week celebrations on KNUST campus.
As the ONLY official media partner for the week-long celebration, staff of the station including on air personalities trooped the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology where they participated in several activities of the hall giving.
With a full outdoor broadcast set up in the heart of Republic Hall, the station run most of its live programmes from the Republic where other interesting events took place.

The various show hosts including Kwame Scientific, DJ Aromah, DJ Slim, opened up inviting students from various tertiary schools who had gathered to share their campus experiences and feel a part of the Big YFM family; an experience many cherished instantly.
Opportunities were also given to the University authorities and executives to partake in activities put together by Y102.5FM.
The week-long hall celebrations were climaxed with an open house party on the Friday Night Flex with DJ Aromah as he turned the entire house into a crazy party space dropping hit songs back to back leaving students wowed.
Y102.5FM is located in Adum, Kumasi and remains the biggest urban music play station in the city.
