Ella Okunmwendia has earned a nomination for “Best Producer TV/Radio” at this year’s Ghana Entertainment Awards USA. A senior producer at YFM, Ella Okunmwendia, produces Ryse N Shyne, The MydMorning Radio Show, The Y Top 20, Pop Central, All Abroad and Feel Good Music.
Reacting to the nomination on Twitter, Ella said: “this came to me as a surprise, thank you Ghana Entertainment Awards USA for the recognition, means a lot.”

Ella Okunmwendia has contributed immensely to the urban space with entertaining segments and creating avenues for musicians to promote their art. Outside her work at YFM, Ella is a writer and podcast host with EnVi Media, a multimedia platform with emphasis on K-pop and the Asian diaspora at large. She has also contributed to websites like Ghanaweb and GQ South Africa. She doubles as the host of The Kpop Hitlist, a Korean music-centric radio show in Nigeria.
The Ghana Entertainment Awards USA takes place on July 8, 2022, at the Tribeca Performing Arts Centre in New York.
