YFM’s Kojo Manuel grabs another nomination at Ghana DJ Awards

Popular Ghanaian nightlife MC and host of ‘Dryve of your Lyfe’ on YFM, Kojo Manuel has grabbed a nomination for the best MC/Hypeman in the Ghana DJ Awards 2020 nomination announcement
Kojo Manuel who gives the numerous listeners of YFM the serenity they need on their drive back home when he sits behind the console, in the plush YFM studio from 3:00pm to 7:00pm as host of ‘Dryve of your Lyfe’ has also hosted some of the biggest parties and concerts in Ghana.
The reigning MC/ Hypeman who hopes to retain the title has hosted events like Tidal Rave, Pen & Paper Concert, UABA, Corps Friday, Now Here Cool Concert, Freshafair Concerts, Legon, Tech, UCC, Lights Up, Epilogo, Afrochella, Detty Rave among others.
Speaking about his nomination, Kojo Manuel said:
‘’It is hard to put this feeling into words. Nevertheless, I am very glad to be nominated in this category. It will be a huge honour for me to win the award for my numerous fans out there who have always supported me. Let’s win this!’’
Programmes Manager of Y 107.9 FM, Eddy Blay congratulated Kojo Manuel on his nomination as he stated: “We are proud of Kojo Manuel. He has put in a great effort and I think he deserves to win as the best MC/ Hypeman of the year. I believe he has more to offer listeners and YFM will continue to support him on that path”.
He will compete with colleagues Mensah Jnr, Nana Quasi-Wusu, Sheldon, Ogee The MC among others.
Meanwhile, Kojo Manuel’s show, the Dryve continues to air Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 7:00pm.
