Ghanaian female on-air personality, Naa Dzama, working with the trendiest urban radio Y102.5FM has been hailed by some industry personalities for her contributions in the media space.
Popularly known as the ‘Voice Goddess’, Naa Dzama has been serving listeners with great entertainment through her soothing voice and therapeutic laughter on radio besides the informative content she churns out.
It is thus no surprise that she has become the only female among the line-up of presenters to host rap god, Sarkodie, in the promotion of his new album dubbed ‘No Pressure’.
Acknowledging this feat, prolific Ghanaian blogger, Kobby Kyei took to his Instagram page to eulogize the radio personality becoming the touchstone for other female hosts to follow.
“She has taken over radio in the Ashanti region and is well on her way to conquer beyond.
Yesterday saw the king of African rap, Sarkodie touring a few radio stations in Kumasi as part of promotional activities for his upcoming album ‘No Pressure’ , set to be released on the 30th of July. It was no surprise that Naa Dzama was tasked with hosting Africa’s best at YFM.
Not only was she the only female in the room, she was the only female in the lineup of presenters interviewing Sarkodie. Her impeccable control over the Queen’s language and unique interviewing skills, created the feel of just 2 friends having a hearty conversation”, he wrote.
Kobby Kyei in his concluding remarks congratulated Naa Dzama for inspiring fans by always “shining light on the parts of the celebrities that the fans never see”.
Other media personalities such Sammy Kay media, Kay Official of YFM, among others were in the comments section, sharing the same sentiment.
Naa Dzama began her career as a radio host a year and half ago at YFM kumasi, under the GMA umbrella; hosting YLounge. She fast rose and now hosts the Myd Morning Radio Show MMRS, the biggest brunch time radio show in the region.
