Co-founder of the Gold Coast Carnival event, Blakk Cedi has revealed that organizers of the event have not billed any international artiste to perform.
He shares that only Ghanaian artistes will be performing at the first edition of the Gold Coast Carnival scheduled for December 26th at the Wakanda Beach Resort.
He made this known during the Twitter Space session hosted by YFM under the topic, ‘Creating Memories: The Major Events in Ghana’.
“The Gold Coast event is strictly Ghanaian in the lineup so it is gonna be all Ghanaian artistes. We don’t have an international artist. Everything that’s gonna be happening there is to sell Ghana so we’re gonna have just Ghanaian artistes,” he told Rev. Erskine on the Space.
Blakk Cedi reiterated that the Gold Coast Carnival is intended to give a Ghanaian experience to all who will attend.
The Gold Coast Carnival is an event centered on the idea of selling Ghanaian culture through an immersive beach rave experience for revelers and projecting Ghanaian top talents to the world with culture diversity, music and food.
Meanwhile, Ghana’s number one urban radio, YFM has partnered with organizers to support with the co-curation, promotion and offering of talents, namely DJs and presenters.
