Asamoah Gyan, a former footballer and captain of the Black stars, shared insights in another engaging episode of the Yleaderboard Series on Y107.9FM.
In an interview on Monday, June 4, 2024, with Rev Erskine on the Myd Morning show, Gyan spoke of his lifelong ambition to inspire the younger generation.
With his load of experience, knowledge and skills in the football business, Gyan introduced the All-Regional Games which will unearth and train talents for different sports nationwide. According to him, talks with clubs and foreign investors have begun to recruit these talents and soar the flag of Ghana higher.
Asamoah Gyan placed the spotlight on the next Gyan to take the world by storm, in the person of Denzel Gyan(nephew). He presents his nephew as the Ghanaian player who will make greater strides than he ever did in the football fraternity. “I see myself in my nephew Denzel Gyan, I had a good left foot but not like how he does. Watch out for Denzel Gyan.’’
