Coach for Asante Kotoko, Prosper Narteh Ogum has fairly admitted that Hearts of Oak were the better side in the Ghana Premier League’s super clash.
After both sides produced some dramatic and intriguing goal scoring chances, the game ended in a 0-0 draw game after both sides failed to make the opportunities count.
Sulley Muntari, together with Gladson Awako in midfield, starred in the fierce encounter for the rainbow club despite not seeing off the last minutes of the game. Alhassan Mohammed at the center of defense shielded every spikes from the Porcupines as man of the match, Dennis Korsah, was a unplayable for Kotoko in the defense and a constant threat on the flanks.
Addressing the media after the game, Coach Prosper Ogum said he was impressed with his side’s performance. However he indicated that Samuel Boadu’s charges played their best football for the first time since the start of the season.
“We played very well because of our level of football. You can really see Hearts of Oak upped their game for the first time this season. I stand to be corrected Hearts as you know have not played better like this before. With all due respect, I respect Hearts and love this kind of performance,” he said.
