Zlatan Ibrahimovic will extend Manchester United contract on one condition

Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave Manchester United another reminder of just how important he is with a late winner against Crystal Palace in midweek.
The Swede has now scored 14 goals in all competitions this term, form which has prompted speculation of a possible contract extension.
The striker is only committed to Old Trafford until the end of the season, but Jose Mourinho recently revealed he’s sure the player will take up an option to stay another year.
Yet, the Sun report that with LA Galaxy monitoring the situation, United are becoming increasingly anxious that he will opt for a move to America.
The MLS outfit have recently lost big names such as Steven Gerrard and Robbie Keane, so Ibra could be the ideal signing to get them back on the map.
It remains to be seen for how long the 35-year-old is at the top of his game, but he is only willing to stay at United on the condition that they will be challenging for the title.
UNITED OUTSIDERS
Mourinho’s men are already massive outsiders to win it this year as they sit in sixth place 13 points behind leaders Chelsea.
Their maverick superstar has won the league an incredible 13 times in his career: twice with Ajax, twice with Juventus, three times with Inter Milan, once with Barcelona, once with AC Milan, and four times with Paris Saint-Germain.
Unless something changes dramatically, he’s not going to add to that tally with United this season, but he wants to see signs that they are serious about competing at the top again in the 2017/2018 campaign.
Zlatan doesn’t want to be seen as a player who is just content to pick up his wages without delivering silverware, and he’s still desperate to prove he can compete in one of the best leagues in the world.
