Advancement in Technology is the surest way for society to thrive post-pandemic

Founder and President of the Ashesi University, Patrick Awuah JR. has divulged that societies can only succeed in these trying time of the COVID-19 pandemic only if they intensively use technology and science.
In an interview with Rev.Erskine on the Y Leaderboard Series segment of the Myd Morning show, he shared: “If you look through human history, societies that advance the quickest or that thrive among other things are societies that use technology and science intensively”.
He noted that with Ashesi, for example, they have e-learning goals and one of these goals is improving on the use of technology.
“We already have this as part of the way we do things at Ashesi. We are constantly looking at how we can use technology more intensely, looking at state of the art technology and what is happening in the world and looking at how we can use technology to improve the world as we are already doing”.
He advised that if we want our societies to advance post-COVID-19, we will have to consider “how we apply technology to help achieve that society”.
