Ghanaian recording artiste from Takoradi, Ayesem, claims every single track he has released has enjoyed immense commercial success.
He explained that every artiste may have their own definition of hit songs but to him, all his songs are bangers. “I have been dropping bangers from day one. All my songs are back-to-back bangers.”
According to his YouTube numbers, ‘Koti’ is his biggest song and he prays all his songs will reach the same heights or do better.
Ayesem who now shuffles between Ghana and the United Kingdom, disclosed how promoting a record in person is easier and efficient when one is present in Ghana.
In an interview with PM, on the Y97.9FM’s ‘Dryve of Your Lyfe Show’, Ayesem said “I think doing music in Ghana is laudable as compared to other parts of the world. The system works better than Ghana but then I am talking about releasing a song here in Ghana and being in the UK. It is easier for me to promote a track if I am here in Ghana than in the UK because most DJs and presenters will want to see you and have interviews with you whilst promoting your song.”
