At 19 Mbappe has more goals than Ronaldo and Messi at the same age

The French World Cup winning wonderkid has outscored both Messi and Ronaldo at domestic, Champions League and International level at this stage in their respective careers.
At 19 Kylian Mbappe has a football CV that the vast majority of players in their thirties could retire happy with.
He has won every title there is in France, collected the prize for Best Young Player at the World Cup, been named in the team of the tournament and most memorably won the Greatest Prize in football itself, also scoring in the final.
Commentators, pundits and fans alike have been eulogising about his performances, indeed it is scary to think what he could achieve in the game.
The statistics also back this up, on an individual level Mbappe has surpassed the levels reached by two of the men he aims to emulate: Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Whilst it may seem premature, if he carries on at the same rate his statistics could take him beyond these two giants of the game.
In the two seasons he has been an established member in the first teams of Monaco and PSG, the Frenchman has scored 52 goals. In comparison, at the same age Ronaldo had scored only 17 and Messi 25.
Mbappe has also excelled in the Champions League, where English fans first saw him stamp his authority on Manchester City in 2016/17. In two years he has scored 10 goals in Europe’s elite competition. At 19 Messi had 2 and Ronaldo was yet to score.
Similarly at international level Mbappe has surpassed the Argentinian and Portuguese captains. Not only in winning the World Cup but in terms of his personal contribution too. Messi, who’s International record is perceived to be far worse than his club achievements and Ronaldo who faced similar criticsm until winning the European Championships in 2016 had four and seven goals respectively. Mbappe already has 9, not to mention the fact that four of those came one the way to World Cup Victory.
Although Mbappe has a lot of work to go to match arguably the two greatest players of all time. The stats suggest that this is not beyond the realms of fantasy.
