Instagram is finally letting users verify their profiles on its platform.
Our prayers and those of would-be influencers have finally been answered. Instead of hopelessly asking around and secretly wishing to acquire the coveted “blue tick”, users will now have the opportunity to apply for Instagram profile verification.
So, without further ado, here’s a quick guide on how to get verified on Instagram. Once you’re logged into your account, tap on the Settings option and then click on ‘Request Verification’. You will then be asked to enter your full name and provide the required form of identification (example: a government-issued photo ID). Check the video below for a more detailed approach.
