We appreciate that in the midst of the chaos and hardship, people still need to stay true to what they hold dear… one of the things people hold dear is life.”
“The research revealled that people want to celebrate life, eapecially the younger people who want to celebrate life everyday and want something which is much more accessible by way of price,” Mr. Fenyi-Gyesi further stated.
He also stated that much thought went into how something already known and enjoyed can be given to consumers in a more accessible variant variant and with acceptable ingredients.
On what informed the flavour ans formulation, the Head of Innovations told Y fm, “One of the flavours that came up top of the research which was quite relevant for us as a market in Ghana was Africa Honey… which when tied into the broad African Tradition and Heritage, it’s truly African.”
He stressed that Baileys delight is not in to do away with Original Baileys but then to complement the Baileys family. “As a brand, you continue to evolve and innovate so you may have a trademark. Guinness has got a lot of variants, it doesn’t substitute one. A true brand which has got high equity continues to innovate and expand its portfolio, ” Mr. Fenyi-Gyesi emphasized.
He called on all to patronise and enjoy Baileys delight as pricing is accessible and relatively cheaper.
