Big Brother Naija Season 6 runner-up, Pere Egbi, who doubles as a model and an actor has disclosed that he is working on a movie project with renowned Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson.
The Nigerian actor is currently in Ghana to build his network with other prominent people in the movie industry and to connect with his fans, the Patriots.
He labels Yvonne Nelson as a great personality in the profession and an icon to African entertainment in anticipation for the commencement of the project.
“I am in Ghana now to see my Patriots and also do more personal things here. For me, I aspire to do a lot more than I’m doing in terms of acting, getting more gigs, hosting jobs in Nigeria and across the globe. I’m also doing a movie here with Yvonne Nelson sometime in February. I am grateful to be on such a project. She is a great actress and icon when it comes to African entertainment,” he told Kokonsa Kester on Y107.9 FM’s Weekend Rush.
Pere Egbi believes his passion for acting was superior and influenced him to end his service with the military.
“I was an actor in Nigeria before moving to the US. Although I started with small gigs, the passion is what made the difference for me. So, when I moved to America to join the military, I always had it in mind that it was not what I wanted in the long run, like forever. So, when my contract with the US military was up, I just left, because I had the passion for something I loved which was acting and getting involved in the Nigerian entertainment industry and the growth of it. That is why I am now here,” he said.
