Soja is no different from Black Sherif’s distinctive sound, which represents his emotions and energy. He expresses self-inspired thoughts that chronicle strength, optimism, confidence, and self-love on his current path and its unknowns.

While projecting into the future, Black Sherif muses on the past. He dismisses any social pressure placed on “Soja,” sending the message to remain focused and maintain an eye on the goal. The hook is evocative of a melodic church hymn and is accompanied by extra vocals.
Following his international breakthrough with his multi-chart-topping hit “Kwaku The Traveller,” the team, who includes Black Sherif’s in-house producer Joker Nharnah, have honed a flair for producing sympathetic songs, which has increased Black Sherif’s cult following around the globe. The 20-year-old Konongo local, who is being hailed as the next big thing in the business, is out to make his voice and city famous all over the world.
