Bulldog, a management and culture specialist, has condemned dancehall singer, Fantana for declaring herself as the biggest Dancehall artiste in Ghana.
According to him, her kind of music does not sustain that claim.
Fantana recently caused a sensation on the Netflix series “Young, Famous and African” when she claimed that she was the biggest dancehall musician in Ghana.
Just like most Ghanaians, Bulldog disputed her assertion, saying she lacked the musical skills required to call herself the biggest dancehall musician.
Not disputing the fact that she’s a good artiste in his opinion, she lacks the expertness that every major artist should have.
“If you weigh the matter, she is not. You need a lot of catalogs to do that…For somebody to say they are big, if Sarkodie says he is big, there are works to show, likewise, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy because there are works to show”.
He added that although Patapaa had one of the biggest songs in Ghana, he never ended up being a big artiste because he didn’t continue the catalog.
“That’s what makes you an artiste and Fantana doesn’t have it. She is talented. She is beautiful. She has everything to be the biggest, maybe she is talking about her future. So, when she comes, she should put in the work,” he charged.
