Through the release of her new album, Cardi B has swiftly gone from an artist/rapper to a Guinness World Record holder.
Cardi B, a Grammy Award winning rapper, teamed up with Walmart and Wing, a drone delivery company, to set the world record for most drone deliveries done in one hour.
According to a press release, Cardi delivered 176 signed CDs of her new album “Am I the Drama?” via drone across the Dallas-Forth Worth metropolitan area.
The albums were sent out by Walmart, flown to fans’ homes through Wing’s drones, and delivered to the doorsteps of the launch participants.
On X, the Guinness World Records account confirmed Cardi B’s record-breaking feat: “Most deliveries by UAV drones in one hour: 176, by @iamcardib @AtlanticRecords @Wing & @Walmart at multiple locations today across the Dallas-Fort Worth region, Texas, USA.”
Although the drone deliveries to North Texas have been completed, fans across the United States can find “Am I the Drama?” on the shelves of their local Walmart or through online sellers.
Cardi B’s world record is coupled by another monumental moment in the artist’s life.
Cardi B, in an interview with CBS News, announced that her and her boyfriend Stefon Diggs, a New England Patriots wide receiver, are with child.
The baby’s due date predates the start of Cardi’s “Little Miss Drama Tour” according to the rapper, and she feels “strong” and “powerful” while balancing her pregnancy and her career.
