Naa Dzama, the host of the Mid Morning Radio show on Y1025FM is set to hold the third edition of the popular Chalewote Giveaway this September. This is one of the projects carried out by her foundation, Purple Angels kids foundation.
This year is set to be the biggest so far. The team will be visiting Abbo, Abono, Adwaso, Abrodwum, Abase and Anyinatiase in the Bosomtwi district, they will be giving out chalewote, school supplies, used clothes, they will also be educating the people on their sexual reproductive health with the aid of resource persons from Planned Parenthood Ghana and giving out menstrual cups to the young ladies. This exercise is to help reduce the number of teenage pregnancies as the Ashanti region recorded the highest number in 2020.
Founded several years ago, Purple Angels kids foundation is focused on empowering under privileged children and inspire them to aspire for more. Help!, Babies In jail, School supply drive by ,Chalewote giveaway and Donor special projects are the key projects the foundation embarks on.
