Over the course of this four-week expedition, Chef Abbys traveled from the mountainous terrains of the Eastern Region to the historic castles of the Central Region, from the lush forests of Ashanti to the desert landscapes of Upper East. Each region presented unique flavors, cuisine, markets, rich traditions, and both expected and unexpected challenges. From navigating remote villages to securing filming permissions at heritage sites, the journey was as much about resilience as it was discovery.
Critics and locals alike have praised Chef Abbys for bringing a fresh lens to Ghana’s cultural tapestry. In a series of pop-up cooking demonstrations, each region’s cuisine was celebrated, drawing millions of views across the world. Feedback has been remarkable with Chef Abbys socials experiencing an 18% increase in just that short period.

According to early impact data, the tour has already amassed almost 100 million views across Youtube, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Facebook and X. Beyond the numbers, the impact is seen in a revived pride among locals and a new global curiosity about Ghana’s diverse culinary story.
