Chief Executive Officer of NIMED Capital Limited, Abena Buachiwaa Brigidi has disclosed how giving birth to her children made her relationship with God a stronger one.
Talking about how motherhood and childbirth have impacted her life she made it known that, “For me, childbirth and motherhood really drew me closer to God”.
In an interview with Rev Erskine on Y107.9 FM’s Leaderboard Series, she shared, “When I look at how a child is born, the way the child grows, I’m not able to contain the magnitude of God. I’m not able to see how He works”.
She noted that seeing the stages and growth of childbirth makes her believe and know that God is great and indeed a super God.
“Because seeing the baby cry, talk, shout and start running, all shows that it’s got to be one big God doing that; it’s not about me so for me, childbirth really drew me closer to God” she revealed.
She went on to say that the whole journey was an eye-opener for her to see how big God was and everything he was capable of doing because “The mountains didn’t do anything to me, I didn’t really appreciate the rivers that people spoke about and how great God was by just looking at a mountain but how kids grow, and how they are able to even transition taught me a lot”.
Not wanting to go into details, Abena believes that childbearing taught her that there was a bigger God somewhere whom she needed to always relate to.
