Latest update on Christian Atsu indicate that the Ghanaian player has been rescued alive from collapsed building following a 7.7-magnitude earthquake that hit Turkey.
Following the incident on Monday morning, a search and rescue operation was launched to help affected people including the former Chelsea and Newcastle winger, who is currently playing for Super Lig club Hatayspor.
According to credible sources, the Ghanaian in the early hours of Tuesday was rescued and appears to be in good condition but currently under treatment.

The Club’s Vice President, Mustapha Ozat also confirmed that the Ghanaian was rushed to the hospital having sustained injuries.
“I just had another meeting. Christain Atsu was taken to the hospital with injuries.”
