COVID-19 has given us time to show what we can do-Johnny Stone

Johnny Stone, host of the Y-Campus Express(YCE) on Yfm, has divulged that the Coronavirus pandemic, despite its many cons, has given a lot of people time to be able to show off their skill.
Talking about the Y-Refresh in an interview with Foster Romanus on eTV Ghana’s Late Nite Celebrity Show, he commented that all his time being at Yfm, he has been learning a few things from everyone around him, hence the new development has paved the way for him and a lot of presenters at Yfm to express themselves better.
For instance, with the time extension of some shows, the presenters can put into practice what they have picked up from their colleagues over the years to better their skill.
Johnny further noted that the YRefresh has been exciting so far because there is a lot of young blood with new ideas, and also with the pandemic taking over the past few months, it has given some people the time to learn even more things and show how well they can do.
“It’s a hard time. Some people have lost their jobs. For me, outside the station, I do one or two things as well and honestly, I’ve lost some of those opportunities because of COVID but then it has also given me the opportunity to put more energy into YFM ”, he added.
