Group Head, Marketing and Corporate Affairs of Hollard Ghana, Cynthia Ofori-Dwumfuo, has given insights into the types of insurances available.
According to her, many people hold the notion that one can only insure his or vehicle. However, there are different types of insurance that could cover even household items that may seem insignificant.
In an interview with Brown Berry on YFM’s ‘RyseNShyne’ show, she said: “There is home content insurance. You can insure the things in your home. There is an opportunity for you to insure your TV, WIFI system, speaker systems or an expensive bag you may have bought. All of that is understanding the general policy we have.
Event organizers can also insure their events. Elsewhere, it is almost compulsory to insure your event because not insuring your event means there is a lot you have not done”.
“‘In this life, things happen. And at Hollard, we actually like to blow on positives. So for us, it is not about what could go wrong but what could go right. The unexpected and inevitable happen. At Hollard, we work with a purpose”, she added.
She stated that people can tune in to all GMABC platforms, namely, e.TV Ghana, YFM, and Happy FM in the month of August to gain more education on insurance policies as well as the options available at Hollard Insurance.
