Award-winning Ghanaian DJ and music executive, DJ Kess has been nominated for DJ Act of the Year at the 2026 Ghana Entertainment Awards-USA (GEAUSA), recognising her contribution to Ghana’s music and entertainment industry.
DJ Kess, who serves as the Head of Music at YFM, has established herself as a prominent force in Ghana’s radio and music landscape. In her role, she plays a key part in shaping the station’s music direction, curating its sound and ensuring audiences are connected to some of the most exciting music and emerging talents from Ghana and beyond.
Her nomination for DJ Act of the Year further underscores her influence as a DJ and music professional, while highlighting the growing recognition of Ghanaian female DJs and music executives within the creative industry.
Reacting to the nomination, DJ Kess expressed gratitude for the recognition and acknowledged the support she has received throughout her career.
