Ethelberths Clothing arrives in Ghana

Nigerian men’s clothing line, Ethelberts, is set to give Ghanaian fashion designers a good run for their money after making a stopover in Accra.
Ethelberths Clothing is an organization where Nigerian clothes are made by Nigerians for Nigerians and other nationals who love well- tailored clothes that enhance their personality and style in a personalized and cost- effective way.
Speaking with the media, the head tailor, Emeka Oparah, said he was happy to be in Ghana because Ghanaians and Nigerians have a lot in common and hopes Ghanaians would adopt his creations.
He said tailoring has been his passion for some time now and decided to turn his passion for fashion into a business that will not only help others look good too but also help promote the idea of Dress Nigerian.

According to him, “Ethelberths Clothing is a child of four necessities. First, it seeks to immortalize the name Sir Ethelbert Ihetughe Oparah, the patriarch of the Oparah family of Mbaise, Nigeria, himself a man of impeccable sartorial taste and style.
Secondly, it will promote Nigerian culture locally and internationally by creating stylish Nigerian clothes. Thirdly, it will support the quest by the government to bridge the gap between demand and supply of foreign exchange by providing an alternative platform for earning foreign exchange through exports.
Fourthly, it will create job opportunities for the teeming youth population of the country and provide relevant skills to empower young people to realize their life ambitions”
He added that as part of giving back to the community, a percentage of cloths sold would be used to support the humanitarian objectives of Sir Ethelberth Oparah Foundation (SEOF).
