Ghanaian hiplife singer Captain Planet has disclosed that every human being is blessed in one way or the other.
The musician insists that God has blessed everyone in a special way and God’s blessings for people are different from another’s. Thus, we should be grateful for everything we have.
Captain Planet made this known on Y102.5FM’s Myd Morning Radio show with Naa Dzama, when he revealed the inspiration behind his new hit song ‘Abodie.’
“Everybody is blessed in their own unique way. You only don’t feel blessed if you are jealous of someone’s blessing. The next man may have a car but you are blessed with life. Someone died yesterday but your blessing is to be alive. Humans only focus on material things as blessings but being alive is the biggest blessing one can ever have.”
He continued that he wanted to make a song everyone can relate with and since a blessing is a general gift for everyone, it inspired him to write the song.
The ‘Abodie’ single speaks about a young guy who counts his blessings and tells his enemies that if God blesses him, no one can take it away.
In his concluding statement, he informed listeners that, he will release a new single featuring Kelvyn Boy by the end of November.
