It doesn’t get any bigger than this year’s Odwira festival at Akropong from the 11th to 17th of October themed “Oneness through our heritage”.
Under the auspices of the Akuapem Traditional Council, Flipbar Akropong presents a weekend of star studded day and night parties with performances, Dj and live band sets with some of the biggest names in the industry.
Flipbar Akropong Odwira Festivities starts Thursday, 14th October with a live band Jazz Night 6pm to 9pm.
Friday 15th October from 8pm is our first live band night with some of your favorite artists such as Daasebre Ba Kwame, Luta, Ara-B, Trigmatic, and Epixode performing live till day break.
Beats and Bars with Yfm is a day party this time and comes off on Saturday 16th of October, with some of best of emerging artiste such as Konfidental, Riycon, Ratty, Samedo Ranking, Ras Terror, Chapter Rankng, Dsoweto, Young Bob, Emperor Skysis, Kapone Spartan, TroOot, Kamafo, Nana Milla, Jay Salty, Nautyca, Lyrical Fayabrand, Jay Nice, Dedebah, Aligata, Joint77, and headlined by Kofi Jamar.
Later at 8pm that night is another star studded live band action night till next day by the best storyteller Ghana as ever experienced, the legendary Okomfour Kwaadee.
Sunday 17th October at 8am is our Food party dubbed Omo Tuo special. Come and taste the best the mountains has to offer. Later in the evening the FlipBar Pool Party with Kwaw Kese & friends.
Deejays passing through are DJ Ganj, DJ Skinny, DJ Sketches, and DJ Bone and MCs such as MC Miguel, MC LLBJ, MC Joni Blaze, and Nokus.
