Accomplished radio producer and media professional Reginald Tetteh of Y107.9FM Accra has earned a nomination for Media Producer of the Year at the 2026 Ghana Entertainment Awards USA (GEAUSA), recognising his contribution to radio production and Ghana’s dynamic media and entertainment industry.
The nomination forms part of the 2026 GEAUSA nominations, which celebrate outstanding Ghanaian and African talents across music, film, media, digital content, fashion, and the wider creative arts.
With several years of experience in radio and media production, Reginald Tetteh has built a reputation for his creativity, attention to detail, and ability to translate ideas into engaging radio content. His work behind the scenes has contributed significantly to the development and execution of some of YFM Accra’s popular weekday programming.
Reginald currently serves as the producer of three key weekday shows on Y107.9FM Accra, playing an integral role in shaping the station’s daily content and listener experience.
He is the producer of Ryse N Shyne, YFM’s weekday breakfast show which airs from 6:00am to 9:00am, where he works with the on-air team to deliver engaging conversations, entertainment, topical discussions and interactive content to kick-start the day.
He also produces Myd Morning Radio Show, which airs from 9:00am to 12:00pm on weekdays, followed by Shouts on Y, which takes over the airwaves from 12:00pm to 3:00pm.
Working across three consecutive weekday programmes requires a combination of creativity, speed, coordination, and an understanding of the interests and expectations of YFM’s youthful audience. Reginald’s work encompasses programme planning, content development, segment coordination, research, production execution, and collaboration with presenters and other members of the programming team.
His career in production has also seen him contribute to a broad range of radio and entertainment projects over the years, working behind the scenes to ensure that programmes are not only entertaining but relevant, timely and reflective of the culture and conversations shaping Ghanaian society.
