Curated by renowned producer Boi-1da in collaboration with BACARDÍ, the program aims to empower and showcase unique artists by immersing them in cutting-edge technology within the music industry. According to Rolling Stone, the initiative strives to create a more efficient and equitable environment for artists to craft their masterpieces.
Under the banner of the Music Liberates Music program, Blackway and his fellow artists will embark on a transformative journey to explore the capabilities of artificial intelligence.

The collaborative effort, titled “The Concept A.I.bum,” seeks to harness AI technology to create a groundbreaking tool utilizing producers’ stems and music catalogs.
The five artists, hailing from diverse corners of the globe, will leverage this innovative tool to develop new demos and push the boundaries of creative expression. The aim is to pioneer a fusion of artistic talent and technological prowess that could reshape the landscape of the music industry.
Blackway’s musical journey is rooted in a deep-seated passion for rap, a realization that dawned during his leading role in a school play. Born in Accra, Ghana, Blackway made the move to Long Island in 2006 alongside his mother. With entertainment running in his blood as the son of the legendary Ghanian actor Kwaku Sintim-Misa, Blackway has drawn inspiration from a myriad of influential artists, including Big L, Jay Z, Eminem, Biggie, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, J. Cole, Nick Grant, Tory Lanez, and others.
Since 2013, Blackway has been a consistent force in the music scene, dropping several projects that have garnered attention and acclaim. Notably, his collaboration with DJ duo Black Caviar on the track “What’s Up Danger” for the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack in 2018 showcased his versatility and ability to resonate with a global audience.
