Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Adina has disclosed why she featured highlife singer Kofi Kinataa on her latest song ‘Party’.
According to her, for a while now, a couple of her fans kept asking her to do a song with the talented singer and she decided to listen to them.
Speaking to Akua Sika on Happy 98.9FM’s Happy Evening Drive on how well the song is doing, she said, “The song is doing great and it looks like lots of people are happy I featured Kofi Kinaata. This is because a lot of people used to drop it in my dms and my comment section that they wanted to see a song from us”.
She believes that this was a perfect time and song because after doing her part, she and her manager were looking for who to feature on and instantly Kofi Kinaata came in mind.
“My manager and I agreed we had to to feature him and it was the best decision because, I’ve been looking forward to being on a song with him for a while now,” she added.
She noted that she is really impressed about his part and mentioned that she really killed his part.
“Also although people are happy about the song, it looks like they are more happy and excited because this is my first song since the beginning of the year so, that kind of reception has been there and it’s been beautiful,” she emphasized.
Adina added that a music video has just been shot for the song and they are just waiting for it to be ready.
“It’s really exciting. It was shot in Sekondi-Takoradi and it was so beautiful. The energy and masquerades made it more exciting so they should wait for it,” she urged.
