I was bounced at several reality shows till I tried Hitmaker-Season 8 winner reveals

Winner of season 8 MTN Hitmaker, Lasmid has shared how he kept trying and was bounced’ through several reality shows but did not give up till he emerged the winner.
He shared this story with host, Nana Quasi-Wusu (PM) on the Dryve of Your Lyfe which airs every weekday on Y97.9FM, Takoradi.
Lasmid revealed that reality shows have played a huge role in his musical life as he tried out about four of them among which the lot did not go well for him.
“I tried the first show and they bounced me. As for that one, they didn’t even consider me. I tried a second time and I was evicted along the line. The third one, I was in for a while and that too, I was evicted.
I went for a fourth reality show and with that, I came out third. From being third, then I went to Hitmaker and finally emerged winner”, he said.
The artiste acknowledged that it was his own homeboys who advised and encouraged him to try Hitmaker and he is glad he did because MTN Hitmaker has taught him a lot.
“Hitmaker has made me bold. They’ve taught me how to talk and how to perform with a live band. Rapping with live band is not easy but they’ve taught me to do that and a whole lot”, he further revealed.
