I would’ve been pained if I didn’t win Breakthrough Act of the year – Mr. Drew

Fast rising Ghanaian Afrobeat artiste, Mr. Drew, has disclosed that he would have been extremely pained if he was not awarded ‘Breakthrough Act of the Year’ at the just ended 3 Music Awards.
Speaking with Kojo Manuel in an interview on YFM’s Dryve of Your Lyfe, he expressed that he and his team worked really hard all through last year, hence it was only fair that he was acknowledged for the hard work.
Mr. Drew added that most of the artistes that were nominated alongside him only started blowing at the latter part of the year unlike himself who has pushed through and stayed relevant from 2019 till date.
“It’s not that easy holding it down from 2019 when we dropped jw3 through till now. We’ve been working hard since, doing performances here and there, and bettering my craft”, and for these reasons, Mr. Drew believes that it was the right decision to crown none other but him the ‘Breakthrough Act of the Year’ at the 2021 3 Music Awards.
Mr. Drew, who is known for his hit songs ‘Dw3’ , ‘This year’ and ‘Let me know’ , among others, earlier today released a new jam with accompanying visuals. He titles this one ‘Mood’.
