“Composing a song doesn’t come easy, recording it is also a different game and after that, to put it out there for people to enjoy requires tough work. From everyone at MUSIGA, we want to congratulate our very own Gloria for this wonderful tribute to the Black Stars and also the International Youth Society for their support. The piece is amazing and everyone needs to get a copy to cheer on the Black Stars,” Bessa Simons remarked.
On his part, the Commander of the International Police Commission-Ghana and President of the International Youth Society, Africa, Col Dr. Kelvin Morgan reiterated the need for Ghanaians and the youth to own the indigenous narrative and champion for gold.
“Today is indeed a special day and glory to the Lord for this day. It has taken me a lot but the Lord has given me a lot as well. I love football and you’d usually see me cheering during our local games. So, I thought since I have found talent in singing, why can’t I contribute and do one for our National Team,” Gloria Ampofo, crooner of the ‘Black Stars are Great Stars’ anthem shared.
