Fast rising Ghanaian musician, Derrick Oboubie Junior professionally known as J. Derobie has stirred up a wind of anticipation in fans for his upcoming concert in 2023.
The young dancehall artiste was thrust into the limelight after his hit single, ‘Poverty’ in 2019 which gained a massive number of streams all over Ghana as a household song for the Dancehall and Reggae fanatic community.
The Afrobeat singer made comments regarding his concert in an interview on Y107.9FM’s YCampusExpress with host Jonny Stone as a reply to when fans should be expecting his concert. “The concert is going to come off this year” he highlighted.
The heavy weight artiste recently released his album, ‘Grains from Love & Reality’ with features from iconic artistes like Mr. Eazi on Shokor and Joeboy on Adwoa
J. Derobie being present at the Criss Waddle’s AMG Connect Concert 2022, Quamina MP’s BONGOFEST concert and Joeboy’s Concert at the Garage gives him ample experience and energy to get prepared for his own concert. He mentioned that he intends to reach out to where he has not reached out to and expand in 2023.
