Jose Mourinho Attacks Jurgen Klopp And Pep Guardiola In First Interview Since Man Utd Sacking

Ex-Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has spoken out about the preferential treatment other Premier League rival managers receive, during his first interview since being sacked, on beIN Sports.
The three-time Premier League winner pulled no punches when he spoke about Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp’s allegedly unpunished touchline behaviour.
“Some people confuse passion with emotional control. I’ll give you an example that you know that I’m right. Similar situations, with me and other managers, different consequences,” he told beIN Sports.
“When Mourinho behaves bad on the touchline, when Mourinho kicks a bottle, when Mourinho does this, when Mourinho does that, he’s out, he’s suspended, he’s paying for this.
“When Jurgen (Klopp) does, he’s special. When Pep (Guardiola) does, he’s special. When Mourinho does, he’s out.”
Mourinho is no stranger to media controversy, so these comments during his first live appearance on football screens since December will come at no surprise.
The former Chelsea manager lifted the lid on an exchange between him and Roman Abramovich, surrounding Didier Drogba’s transfer to the West London club.
Mourinho has played the Premier League villain since he announced himself to the media in that famous ‘special one’ press conference back in 2004.
But it appears the now out-of-work manager has had enough of his touchline antics being criticised while other top-level managers are apparently untouched.
It may still be some time until we see Mourinho on the Premier League touchline again, but the Portuguese coach admitted he has rejected three job offers since being sacked by Manchester United.
“My philosophy depends. I would love to go to a club and have conditions that Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola did,” he said in the same interview with beIN Sports.
“I refused already three jobs because I didn’t feel it was what I want.”
