Kwabena Kwabena is ‘Afraid to Lose You’ in newest single

Celebrated Ghanaian highlife musician, George Kwabena Adu, better known as Kwabena Kwabena out with a new afro soul song dubbed ‘Afraid To Lose You’.

With his silky and piercing voice on smooth and harmonic string and wind instruments, the decorated artiste did not disappoint in his first single of the 2022 calendar year.

Speaking about what inspired him to record the song, Kwabena Kwabena said; “I was inspired by how it’s important to have myself and keep myself and not be afraid to lose myself. With this song, I was in the space where I didn’t want to lose everything beautiful I had as a musician and everything I consider so beautiful in myself. So, when I got to that point, I felt like I was losing it, that’s when the song came in,” he said to Y 107.9 FM’s Dorothy Cornelius during the ‘Weekend Rush’ show.

The ’Bue Kwan’ hitmaker also mentioned that his new song was for individuals who doing their possible best to keep certain people or assets in their lives.

“It’s for everyone who is doing everything possible not lose anybody or anything they cherish,” he added.
