Kylian Mbappe Gives Perfect Answer When Questioned On His £8.3 Million A Year Wage

There aren’t many teenagers, or anyone for that matter, who get paid the kind of money that Kylian Mbappe gets paid to play for PSG. The teenager has the perfect answer to being questioned about those wages.
By the end of this year Kylian Mbappe is likely to be the first winner of the Kepa Award, which is the Ballon d’Or for under 21s, whilst by the end of the season he’ll have won three Ligue 1 titles in a row to go with the World Cup he’s got.
That’s a pretty decent record for a man who won’t be 20 till five days before Christmas and it seems like he’s only going to get better, and that’s bloody scary.
Mbappe has already been part of a transfer that cost up to €180 million when he moved from Monaco to PSG, after a year on loan with the capital side, and he’s on quite the package.
The PSG forward earns £8.3 million per year, as per Football Leaks, or £160,395 a week, which is pretty good. Speaking to RTS the World Cup winner spoke about his wages, saying:
“It’s truly indecent for me, who comes from a fairly modest family.

“It’s true that it’s indecent but the market is like that. The world of football works like that.

“I’m not going to revolutionise football. I’m in a system. You have to know how to respect it and to stay in place.”
It’s amazing honesty from Mbappe with most footballers not discussing their wages and certainly most wouldn’t admit that the money they earn is ‘indecent.’
The Frenchman also earnt €439,000 for his participation in the World Cup in the summer and donated all of it to charity giving it to Premiers de Cordee, who work with disabled and hospitalised children.
Juan Mata recently helped launch ‘Common Goal’ which sees him, and several other footballers, give 1% of their wages to charities.
Mats Hummels, Giorgio Chiellini, Julian Nagelsmann, Serge Gnabry, Shinji Kagawa, Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe and UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin are amongst those in football who have signed up to the charity.
